This is a camp that accomplishes 3 main things: To teach players the correct way to shoot the basketball, how to make every shot you shoot, and to have as much FUN as possible in the process!

Perfect Shots Shooting Academy

Academy Times: 9am – 4pm 9-11:45 – lunchbreak – 1:15-4

The Perfect Shots Shooting Academy drills in all areas of shooting to create, develop and your perfect shot. You will receive leadership and intensive instruction by NBA D League Champion Coach Nick Nurse and his staff of experts along with digital evaluation of your shot reviewed with you making corrections to ensure ongoing improvement.

The Premier Point Guard Academy is entirely for and about the Point Guard. Humbled by overwhelming requests for this key position coupled with the faith you have in us to create something special is priceless. We won’t let you down!

The Point Guard has the responsibility of controlling the ball and of dictating the pace of the game. The job of the Point Guard is so important. Coaches know this, you know this. They might not get all (or any) of the glory, but time and again the premier point guard makes glory possible.

A premier point guard is a leader. A premier point guard is also a follower. Sounds crazy, we know. But they must feel the vibe on the court and be tuned in at all times. Lead, follow, get out of the way and yet guide the way.

Truly it is an art more than a science. This position is pivotal and an excellent point guard is priceless. Let’s get started.

Point Guard Academy Two-Fold Focus:

1. Dribbling + Passing + Shooting = Ball Control

What’s more important – dribbling or passing? This can be debated until the cows come home. If you can’t dribble well, you can’t control the ball – therefore, there is no “passing.” But they are both important. Become the best at both. Bar none.

Back to basics, specifically DRIBBLING. To be a great dribbler, you must be able to dribble. Not exactly an “aha” moment. Yet it bears repeating. It must be done at full speed, half speed, changed directions on a dime with both hands equally adept. And we’re just getting warmed up. So are you!

If it’s starting to sound like a job for genius or magician, you’re right. Be both. Start now.

2. Excellent Ball Control + Vision + Composure = TRUST

Trust. Command of the game. It’s done with vision and composure.
Trust. Like they say, it must be earned. Without it, you are nothing.
